A Texas Family Butcher Shop Since 1963
Don's Smokehouse was established in 1963 in Garland, Texas by Don Davis. After serving as a meat cutter in the U.S. Air Force, Don started his dream of owning his own butcher shop. In 1982 the business moved to a larger facility in Waco, where Don and his wife Dorothy grew it on quality meats and the kind of service that made you part of the family.
Today Don's Smokehouse is in downtown Howe, Texas: a full service butcher shop, food manufacturer, web store and delivery business. We still hand-make our jerky, snack sticks and sausage in our own smokehouse.
